Brothers K. Alexander, H. Jacobs, A. Sims, and W. Rodgers Graduate in 2023 Winter Commencement

With the conclusion of the Fall 2023 Semester, Troy University hosted the Winter Commencement Ceremony for Graduates of the Class of 2023. The ceremony, hosted at the Dothan Civic Center, honored more than 700 graduates from 33 different states and 17 countries.

Of the 700+ graduates, four were former actives and current Alumni of Troy FarmHouse. To clarify, Kyle Alexander, Hanson Jacobs, Austin Sims, and Wesley Rodgers all graduated with their respective degrees on Saturday, and are officially Alumni of the Alpha Pi Chapter of FarmHouse Fraternity at Troy University.

Alexander, a Management Major from Damascus, GA, graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration under the Sorrell College of Business.

Jacobs, a Nursing Major from Dothan, AL, graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing under the College of Health and Human Services, and also graduated with Magna Cum Laude honors. With that, Jacobs has secured a job in a Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) to further his medical education and experince. During his time on campus, Jacobs was the Palladium Yearbook Editor for 2.5 years, an SGA Senator, and the Greek Week Philanthropy Chair, while also being part of the Student Nurses Association (SNA), Sigma Theta Tau, the Troy Chess Club, and The Fortress.

Sims, a Geographic Informations Sciences (GIS) Major from Eastabutchie, MS, graduated with a Bachelor of Science in GIS under the College of Arts and Sciences. On campus, Sims has served as the Interfraternity Council (IFC) President, in addition to being the Vice President of Philanthropy and the Homecoming and Greek Week Chairs for FarmHouse.

Rodgers, an Exercise Science Major from Malone, FL, graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science under the College of Health and Human Services.

Brad Smith

Brad is a member of the Beta Chi Pledge Class of the Alpha Pi Chapter of FarmHouse Fraternity at Troy University. In addition, Brad is a Broadcast Journalism Major with a Minor in Sports Information and serves as the FH Public Relations Chair for the 2023-2024 year
