Brother Colton Lindsey Named as Co-Freshman Forum Director for ‘24-’25 school year

As initially announced on Tuesday, Colton Lindsey, a Brother of the Alpha Pi Chapter of FarmHouse at Troy University, was selected as a Co-Director for Freshman Forum for the upcoming 2024-2025 school year. With that, Lindsey joins Kendall Ard, a sister of Alpha Gamma Delta Sorority, as the two new directors of Freshman Forum.

“Being selected as Freshman Forum Director is a true blessing from God,” Lindsey said. “I’m excited to get to know the incoming freshman and begin selecting the next group of delegates.”

Lindsey, a Business Management major from Cullman, Alabama, served as a delegate on the Campus Life Committee this past year. In addition, Lindsey served alongside Kaitlyn Smith as one of the two Directors for the 2023 Excellence in Leadership Conference.

For reference, Conference is an all-day experience to enhance the leadership abilities of high school students and to give out the John Kline Excellence in Leadership Award to one student in attendance.

With his selection to serve as Director, Lindsey becomes the first brother of FarmHouse to be chosen, since joining current Director Caleb Smith (2023-2024).

Freshman Forum is the freshman branch of the Student Government Association, and serves as a way for freshman leaders to get connected around the TROY campus, in the community, and to make lifelong friendships. Freshman Forum is made up of approximately 50 freshmen and two directors, and applications for the upcoming 2024-2025 year will open on June 1.
